Day 05: Port Blair City Tour – Ross Island After breakfast, visit Ross Island, the former administrative capital of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands during British rule. Although now in ruins, remnants of the Commissioner’s Palace, bakery, British Officer’s Club, church, and cemetery still stand, offering a glimpse into the past. (Ross Island visit is subject to ticket availability; if unavailable, Wandoor Beach will be covered instead.) Later, embark on a Port Blair city tour, including: Fisheries Museum (Aquarium): Showcasing unique marine species found in the islands. Anthropological Museum: Displaying tribal artifacts and cultural exhibits. Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika): Offering insights into the islands' history, marine life, geography, and archaeology. Cellular Jail (National Memorial): Known as "Kala Pani," this historic site was designed for solitary confinement and played a crucial role in India's freedom struggle.
